Job Description

Summary of Role
  • Perform offshore-based role of Field Engineer or Client Technical engineer on vessels and/or host installations as required.
  • Assist in the planning, execution and close-out of designated subsea work scopes.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to ensure project requirements are met efficiently and effectively.
  • Develop and manage project documentation ensuring compliance with relevant standards.
  • Provide technical support and guidance on subsea engineering scopes.
  • Monitor progress of designated work scopes and report on status to senior management and clients.
  • Contribute to risk assessments and problem-solving activities during project lifespan.

Experience

  • Ideally a background in Subsea and Project Engineering within the Oil & Gas industry, particularly diving and ROV activities however transferable skills will be considered
  • Ability to manage and oversee subsea projects.
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills, capable of working effectively in diverse teams and on own initiative.
  • Robust understanding of industry regulations and standards impacting subsea operations.
  • Commitment to upholding the highest standards of safety and environmental protection.
  • Previous experience in subsea IRM or construction market desirable but demonstrable transferable experience from other industries will be considered.
  • Willing and able to work offshore and onsite.

Minimum Qualification Requirements (if applicable)

Engineering degree preferred but not required.

Company Training Requirements (if applicable)

In-house training will be provided, and external courses will be utilised if/as required.
