Job Description

We are seeking an efficient and skilled tender project manager to support the Engineering Delivery team with the tender and transition management for a key contract within our operator client’s business. The tender manager will lead the process from strategy approval, through proposal submission, negotiation and contract award to the completion of contract transition.

Outline of Assignment

  • Lead and Coordinate the end-to-end tender process and contract transition in collaboration with the assigned Contracts Analyst.
  • Collaborate and Coordinate with all internal stakeholders / departments, HQ and Partners to ensure all aspects of the tender and transition are addressed.
  • Manage budget, resources and timelines to ensure on-time execution of tender and transition to plan.
  • Coordinate and facilitate tender progress review meetings, ensuring key stakeholders provide input and address concerns or issues.
  • Maintain comprehensive and accurate tender documentation and records of communication.
  • Manage tender progress reporting ensuring timely and accurate reporting of the tender process.
  • Participate in negotiation sessions to secure favourable terms and conditions.
  • Ensure compliance with requirements, regulations and industry standards.
  • Ability to evolve from Tender Manager to Transition Manager upon successful contract award.


Expected skills, experience and qualifications

  • Experience as a tender project manager, bid manager, proposal manager or a similar role in the offshore oil and gas industry or relevant industry.
  • Experience in managing tenders for complex projects or large-scale contracts including contract transition.
  • Strong understanding of the tender lifecycle, ITT documentation compilation, development and contract negotiation.
  • Ability to implement budgetary and cost-control measures with solid negotiation and persuasive skills.
  • Attention to detail and high accuracy in tender preparation and review.
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders at various levels.
