Job Description

Overview

We are seeking a Business Development Coordinator to join our growing team.

We are an energy engineering consultancy working across multiple sectors including oil & gas, carbon capture. hydrogen and industrial decarbonisation.

As a dynamic and fast paced business we are searching for a likeminded person to support our continued growth.

We are open to accepting an early career professional for this position as training will be provided on the job for the correct candidate.

Duties

  • Take responsibility for setting up business development and sales meetings
  • Develop and implement business development strategies to achieve company goals
  • Attend (with technical team) business development meetings with clients identifying opportunity in-line with core business
  • Support the identification of new business opportunities and partnerships to supplement core business
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients and stakeholders
  • Coordinate and attend client events, conferences and other industry events
  • Coordinate the weekly sales meetings ensuring action tracker is up to date and technical team have completed tasks
  • Prepare sales presentations and capability statements in conjunction with technical specialists
  • Support proposal writing in conjunction with technical specialists
  • Coordinate the development of social media content and other marketing platforms

Skills

  • Keen interest in sales, business development and a client facing position
  • Strong communication skills with an outgoing nature
  • A genuine interest to learn about the technical aspects of our services to a level that enables effective business development
  • Excellent attention to detail, particularly with written English and grammar
  • Excellent IT skills including formatting word documents, powerpoint presentations etc
  • Excellent organisational and time-management, with the ability and confidence to coordinate our technical team
  • Self-starter and proactive approach to work with the ability to take initiative without regular supervision.
  • Ability to integrate into our young and dynamic team
Qualifications
  • Degree in a relevant subject
