Overview

We were awarded an accelerated project to deliver an early production system solution for our UKCS located operator client.

Scope of Work

We were engaged by our client to deliver a full multi-discipline topsides pre-FEED and FEED for a heavy oil subsea tie-back to an FPSO which was to be used as an early production system. The study included:

  • Modifications to the turret and swivel path
  • Optimisation of the crude inlet heating to improve the separation process
  • Flare gas recovery
  • Implementation of a compression system for gas injection into the disposal wells
  • Diluent storage and injection systems development
  • Establishment of process chemicals, subsea controls, and cargo tank heating solutions
  • Engineering for recertification for asset life extension (ALE)
  • Operational integrity and readiness
  • Cost Estimation
